About kitesurf holidays in Essaouira.

Yes. Most of our guests have never touched a kite before they arrive. Lessons start from scratch — first on the beach, then in the shallow flat water at Diabat, a reassuring spot to learn. Whether you come for a relaxed holiday or an intensive kitesurf camp, Mohamed Achhibat, Morocco’s national champion, sets the pace to your level.
The wind blows from March to October on the trade winds — 15 to 25 knots on average. Summer is the most reliable and warmest season, ideal for stacking sessions day after day. Off-season, kitesurfing happens on windy days and we switch to surfing when the ocean allows.
The per-person price bundles accommodation (villa, riad or sea-view house), kitesurf lessons with all the gear — kite, board, harness, wetsuit — and transfers between your place and the day’s spot. Equipment is provided and renewed each season; if you’d rather ride your own, you’re welcome to bring it.
The week package (6 nights, 10h of kite) gives you time to genuinely progress, from your first waterstart to your first independent runs. The weekend (3 nights, 6h) is great for a refresher or to get a taste of the spot before coming back for longer.
Three places to choose from: Villa Amwaj with its private pool between Essaouira and Sidi Kaouki, a riad in the heart of the medina 300 m from the beach, or a characterful house on the ramparts with an Atlantic view. Pick the vibe that suits you — solo, as a couple, with friends or family.
Yes. Essaouira and Sidi Kaouki have approachable waves all year round. Many guests combine kite on windy days and surf when the sea is calmer — we organise both depending on the conditions.
