Kids Surf (5+ years)
Adapted foam boards, shallow water, gentle beach break. Kids learn balance, timing, and ocean respect. Maximum 4 kids per instructor.

Kids surf lessons FAQ — Essaouira.
We take children from age 5 for surf lessons. They use small foam boards that are light and safe. The instructor stays in the water right next to them the entire time, helping them catch whitewater waves in shallow water.
Kitesurf lessons start at age 12, with a weight of around 40 kg so the child can handle the kite safely. Mohamed adjusts the kite size to match their strength.
Absolutely. Parents are welcome to stay on the beach and watch the whole session. Many families book the Family Day package where parents and children take lessons at the same time, either on separate boards or sharing the experience together.
Surf lessons for kids take place in waist-deep whitewater close to shore. We use soft foam boards that cannot hurt them on impact. The instructor-to-child ratio is never more than 1 to 3, and every child wears a wetsuit for buoyancy and warmth.
